Rhythm doesn't care who you were before you walked in; it only asks who you are right now. Claim your space and find your beat.
Mara C
Hi, my name is Mara, I am freshman in high school, and my favorite song to dance to is "It's Ok I'm Ok" by Tate Mcrae! I've always had a passion for dancing ever since I was a little girl, but K-Pop and Hip-Hop music really inspired me to keep moving when I was younger. A bit more recently, over the past three years, I've explored many new kinds of dance styles, including Lyrical, Jazz, Pom, and Ballet, but K-Pop and Hip-Hop have always been my home base. I founded this studio to create the space I once went searching for: A space where the precision of K-pop meets the grit of Hip-Hop. It's a place with no limits, a place where sharp choreography and raw energy build the confidence that comes from finding your own groove. I want to share that fire with all of you, pushing every student to find their strength, refine their technique, and command their own unique presence on the floor. I used to watch from the sidelines until I realized the stage was waiting for me. I built Rhythm Academy so you'd never have to wait - let's stop following the rhythm and start creating it.Â
Abril R
Hi! My name is Abril and I'm a freshman in high school. I'm from Venezuela, and my favorite song to dance to is "Hype Boy" by New Jeans! For me, dancing is about disconnecting from the world as we know it and traveling to another world where freedom and happiness abound. I've danced practically my whole life, doing professional rhythmic gymnastics ever since I was 6, including basic ballet. These disciplines have shaped my precision, flexibility, and strength allowing me to bring a high level of artistry to the K-pop genre. Discovering K-pop brought me a new love for dance that I'd never experienced before, where I truly realized it's my passion. Now, I want to bring that same happiness and wholeness to my students. Because dancing isn't just about moving your body, it's about traveling to another universe. I hope I can take all of you with me :)
